Privacy Policy

Your privacy is our top priority. Imglio is built on a privacy by design principle. We collect as little data as possible, and your image files never leave your device. This document transparently explains how we handle data in our service operations.

Our Privacy Commitment

Imglio is built on a foundation of trust. We understand that the images you process may be personal, sensitive, or commercially valuable. That's why, from the very beginning of the platform's design, we consciously chose a technical approach that maximizes user privacy and minimizes data exposure.

File Processing (Client-Side)

All image files you use on Imglio are processed directly in your browser (client-side). They are never uploaded to our servers, never stored, and cannot be accessed or shared by Imglio. With this approach, you have full control over your files, keeping your security and privacy intact.

In practical terms: Imglio never sees, touches, stores, analyzes, or distributes any files you upload. Format conversion, compression, resizing, and other operations happen exclusively in your device's memory, and the results are immediately available for download without passing through our server infrastructure.

This is a deliberate architectural choice and a genuine expression of our commitment to user privacy, not just a written policy, but a verified technical guarantee.

Data We Collect

To improve the quality of our service, Imglio may collect limited, non-personal data. This includes usage information such as pages visited and features used, as well as technical details like browser type, device, and operating system. This information is used in aggregate and is not intended to identify individual users.

Cookies

Currently, Imglio does not use cookies. However, in the future, cookies may be used to help analyze website usage, improve user experience, and store basic user preferences. If this feature is implemented, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.

If cookies are introduced, we are committed to updating this policy in a timely manner and, where required, providing users with an explicit consent mechanism in line with applicable regulations.

Data Security

Imglio applies various best practices to keep users safe. We do not store processed files, we avoid collecting sensitive data, and we use secure systems for analytics purposes. This approach is aimed at minimizing risk and maintaining user trust.

Our infrastructure is regularly monitored for security vulnerabilities, and we follow a secure development lifecycle with every platform update. The analytics data we collect is stored on protected servers and can only be accessed by authorized personnel.

While no system can guarantee absolute security, we are committed to continuously strengthening our platform's security posture and responding to any security incidents quickly and transparently.

Sharing Data with Third Parties

Imglio does not sell, rent, or trade user data to any party for commercial purposes. This is an unconditional commitment that forms the basis of trust between us and our users.

Analytics data may be shared with third-party service providers who assist us with technical operations, such as hosting, performance monitoring, or web analytics, but only in their capacity as data processors, bound by confidentiality agreements and strict data protection standards.

The only exception to this policy is when legally required by competent authorities, in which case we will endeavor to notify users in advance to the extent permitted by law.

Your Rights

As a user, you have the right to control how you use our service based on your needs. You can stop using the service at any time, and you have the right to request information about any data that Imglio may have collected. If cookies or additional features are introduced in the future, you will also have control over those preferences.

Privacy Policy Updates

Imglio reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, applicable regulations, or operational and business needs. Updates may include adjustments to how we handle data, the use of new technology, or feature improvements that affect the user experience.

Any changes will be published on this page with the latest update date so users can see which version of the policy is currently in effect. We encourage users to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay accurately informed about how their data is handled.

For significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to provide clearer notice, such as through website notifications or available communication channels. By continuing to use Imglio's service after any updates take effect, users are considered to have read, understood, and agreed to the latest version of the privacy policy.
